How it works
Message us or book online. We'll ask a few quick questions, including where the car is parked.
We send a written quote on WhatsApp. Nothing starts until you've said yes.
You get on with your day. We send photos of worn parts and the work as we go.
We show you what we did and the old parts. If something can wait, we'll tell you.
What we do
Interim and full services on your driveway, with a record of everything we did.
Warning light on? We find the fault for a capped fee, credited to the repair if you go ahead.
Pads and discs replaced, with photos of the old ones so you can see why.
Timing belts changed at home, with the price agreed before we start.
Flat or dead battery? We test it, replace it if it needs it, and get you going.
Where we work
Repairing cars on a public road for business is an offence under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, and that includes estate roads. We'd rather tell you now than on your doorstep.
Further afield? Tell us in the survey. If enough people nearby ask, we'll plan days there.
For businesses
Every garage visit can cost you half a day per van. We service and repair your vehicles at your premises, on a scheduled visit each month. Harlow-based, a short hop from Templefields, Pinnacles and Riverway.
Questions
No. It's against the law for a business to repair cars on a public road, and that includes estate roads. We work on driveways, in garages and on private off-street land. The exception is a genuine breakdown, where a quick fix gets the car moving again.
Every job gets a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start. If we find anything else, we price it separately and only go ahead if you say yes.
We can't. MOT tests have to happen at an approved test centre, so no mobile mechanic can carry them out.
No. We'll point you to a trusted local mobile tyre fitter.
We use them to decide how Shift runs: which jobs, which towns and which days. Your answers are anonymous unless you choose to leave your details. Read our privacy notice.
